FN newsletter 04-01-2022: the latest news and public consultations
Welcome to the first Fitzrovia News newsletter of 2022. We aim to publish this newsletter at least once a month throughout the year. And we’ll publish a small printed newspaper in March, June, September and December, which will be available from outside the Fitzrovia Community Centre, 2 Foley Street. Exhibition celebrates the life of artist and performer Leigh Bowery
The Fitzrovia Chapel starts off 2022 with a special exhibition celebrating the life and work of the performance artist, club promoter and fashion designer Leigh Bowery. Spanning the world of art, fashion, and music, Bowery pushed his body through ever more extreme creations, designed to shock and thrill.

Westminster Council has validated seven planning applications in Fitzrovia West during December 2021.
Licensing application: The Collective Bedford Square Partnership, 14 Bedford Square
An application has been made to Camden Council for a new premises licence at 14 Bedford Square in Bloomsbury and Fitzrovia.
Licensing application: Lantana, 80 Charlotte Street
Lantana Catering Services Ltd has applied to Camden Council for a new premises licence for 80 Charlotte Street.
Licensing application: Nineteen-O-Five, 40 Mortimer Street
1821 Investments Ltd has applied to Westminster Council for a premises licence at the basement and ground floor of 40 Mortimer Street, which is on the corner with Great Titchfield Street.
Camden Site Allocations consultation
Camden Council is seeking the views of residents and community groups on its Site Allocations Plan, a document that identifies possible development sites within the borough and their possible uses.
