Readers and contributors -- Make yourselves comfortable. There is a lot to read in this edition of our newsletter. We have many reports providing public information and public consultations affecting life for residents in Fitzrovia. But on a lighter note we also have a very enjoyable photo-feature capturing the spirit of community that was very successful street party in Carburton Street.
Covid infections are again on the rise with an estimated 2.9 percent of people positive in London. Please follow NHS advice to avoid catching and spreading coronavirus. Information and how to get vaccinated is on Camden Council’s coronavirus web page and Westminster Council’s coronavirus web page.
There is also a poliovirus alert. See our news story below for more information.
Please check the public consultations to see if you are affected by any of them. It is important to respond and help the various community groups working to improve the lot for all of us living here.
If you want to get in touch with us to tell us what you think of our reporting, have a question, or would like to contribute to Fitzrovia News please email us at news@fitzrovianews.com
Our next newsletter will be out in early July.
