Please be aware of the new rules in response to the Covid-19 Omicron variant. You must wear a face covering in shops and most indoor public places and on public transport. You can find local information about getting a vaccine and other information on Camden Council’s coronavirus web page and Westminster Council’s coronavirus web page.
There will be no changes to recycling and rubbish collection days over the Christmas and New Year period. Check rubbish and recycling for Camden and Westminster.
Our small black and white newspaper is out. This includes a digest of the news and community information over the last three months. It is available from outside Fitzrovia Community Centre, 2 Foley Street. We have a nearly complete online archive of community news going back to 1973. Camden rejects plan to reduce social housing on Middlesex Annex and former workhouse site

Westminster Council has validated six planning applications in Fitzrovia West so far during December 2021 (this list will be updated at the beginning of next month).
Licensing application: Lantana, 80 Charlotte Street
Lantana Catering Services Ltd has applied to Camden Council for a new premises licence for 80 Charlotte Street.
Licensing application: Nineteen-O-Five, 40 Mortimer Street
1821 Investments Ltd has applied to Westminster Council for a premises licence at the basement and ground floor of 40 Mortimer Street, which is on the corner with Great Titchfield Street.
Camden Site Allocations consultation
Camden Council is seeking the views of residents and community groups on its Site Allocations Plan, a document that identifies possible development sites within the borough and their possible uses.
